Sherwood machine reamers are used to produce a close tolerance surface finish by enlarging pre-drilled holes to a finished size. Manufactured from HSS with a 45 bevelled head. Conform to BS 122 : Part 2 and BS 328 Part 4. INCH TOLERANCES: Diameter: ~ up to 7/64″. Tolerance: +0.0003, -0.0001. Diameter: Over 7/64″ ~ up to 15/64″. Tolerance: +0.0004, -0.0002. Diameter: Over 15/64″ ~ up to 25/64″. Tolerance: +0.0005, -0.0002. Diameter: Over 25/64 ~ up to 43/64″. Tolerance: +0.0006, -0.0003. Diameter: Over 43/64 ~ up to 1 1/8″. Tolerance: +0.0007, -0.0004. Diameter: Over 1 1/8″ ~ up to 1 1/2″. Tolerance: +0.0008, -0.0004. Diameter: Over 1 1/2″ ~ up to 2″. Tolerance: +0.0010, -0.0005.
